Treats worth working for
Kids see their own star balance and exactly what each prize costs, so saving up is their decision. Cashing one in asks you first. Build the catalog yourself, or run a weekly allowance instead, or no rewards at all.

Turn on the swear jar and the rule applies to everyone. A kid slipping up costs stars, and it takes your PIN to log. A grown-up slipping up costs real money into the family jar, and the kids get to report that one themselves. Optional, and off until you switch it on.
